Moistboyz have announced the release of their fifth album, Medusa and share a pretty hilarious new music video that looks like an arcade game from the 90s.
Moistboyz posted via facebook a new single called “Paperboy” with an accompanying music video featuring an animated paperboy in a video game world delivering papers on his route as he encounters surprise after surprise. The band, which features Dean Ween from Ween, will be releasing their first album in eight years and the first since Ween’s break up, at the end of the summer. After Ween’s dissolution last year, Dean Ween has been up to a whole lot, including recording a solo album with Josh Homme and organizing a Sandy benefit. Moistboyz have also announced on their facebook that they will be posting “a lot of cool archival material” up until the release of Medusa. The first four Moistboyz albums were all referred to by their Roman Numerals; Medusa is the first album of theirs to have a proper name though it seems the band is still referring to it casually as Moistboyz V.
