It’s been quite a busy first year for the duo of Hudson Mohawke and Lunice aka TNGHT. After debuting back at SXSW in 2012, the two have seemingly skyrocketed. Their tracks have been heard exclusively on the likes of MTV’s VMA awards ceremony as well as Kanye West fashion shows. They have also been tapped for huge remixes such as Waka Flocka Flame’s “Rooster in My Rari”. Their blend of hip hop and electronic music has been turning heads from The Guardian to Vice and everything in between.
For their US tour, they only have a handful of shows spread across four cities. Other than playing two weekends out at Coachella, TNGHT are playing individual shows in San Francisco, New York and Philadelphia. Things kick off a few days prior to the first weekend of Coachella here in Philly. TNGHT will take over the Starlight Ballroom on 4/10. Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday (2/22) at noon.
