A special event curated by the LA Phil’s Brooklyn Festival will honor the work of Brooklyn-based composer Tyondai Braxton on Tuesday, April 16th.
Braxton will sit in on guitar alongside conductor Alan Pierson and the LA Phil New Music Group at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.
More from LA Phil’s website:
“Central Market” was the 2009 break-through album for Tyondai Braxton, a conceptually and sonically big, multi-movement work by an artist who often works alone or with the prog-rock band Battles, but here enlisting an orchestra.
