Further Seems Forever @ The Trocadero Theatre 2/7

It’s been a little over two years now since Further Seems Forever reunited with their original singer Chris Carrabba. After releasing their first album The Moon Is Down back in 2001 Carrabba left the group to form Dashboard Confessional. After finding different vocalists for each of their following two albums, Further Seems Forever decided to call it quits. In August of 2010, the influential emo band announced they were reuniting with the entire original lineup. Earlier this year Further Seems Forever released their fourth studio album, second with the original lineup. Penny Black came out on Rise Records on October 23rd. Following the new album, the band set out on a tour that was cut short thanks to Hurricane Sandy. A handful of east coast dates were cancelled due to the path of destruction left by the super storm.

Further Seems Forever have just announced the rescheduled dates for the cancellations. They return to Philadelphia on February 7th when they stop at the historic Trocadero Theatre in Chinatown. It will be the first time the band showcases their new songs off of Penny Black. So far the series of rescheduled shows are the only ones announced for them so be sure not to miss out on the dates!
