Los Angeles’ own, Local Natives, will be releasing their sophomore album early next year. The new album, Hummingbird, will be dropping from Frenchkiss Records on January 29, 2013. The band will also be holding tours in the United States and Europe to promote the tour.

The highly anticipated Hummingbird is following the band’s critically acclaimed debut, Gorilla Manor. Since their freshman album, Local Natives have graced the stage with bands such as Arcade Fire and the National and have played in major music festivals. The band has grown significantly since Gorilla Manor and Hummingbird reflects this transformation and growth, as well as their signature melodic richness.
