Former frontman of sludge metal band Acid bath, current Austin resident, and creator of dark metal tinged alt-psych, Dax Riggs makes some seriously great sounds. His vocals sound equally smooth as they do as if they’ve seen one too many cigarettes, which is to say they sound killer, and the music is equally headbangable as it is groovable. Also, the guitar work is really awesome. Head out early for Whitman, and always amazing garage surfers La Migra.
