Ten years after making demos and touring the West Coast, it was time for Six Organs of Admittance to release a new sound. Ascent is the proud result of Chasny, backed by members from Comets on Fire. The album is “telescoping the strength and power of that moment in 2002 and it’s electri-Six-O after-affects by viewing it through the mind’s opera-glass, in the present,” according to the press release.
