The British band Enter Shikari has recently announced the dates for their A Flash Flood of Colour North American Tour 2012. Accompanying them on their tour are bands Letlive and At the Skylines. The aptly named tour will showcase songs from Enter Shikari’s newest album, A Flash Flood of Colour.

Comprised of musicians Rou Reynolds, Rory Clewlow, Chris Batten, and Rob Rolfe, Enter Shikari blends electro-punk-rock, post-hardcore, metalcore, and alternative metal to create their individual style. The band’s name comes from a character, Shikari, in a play that Reynolds wrote before forming the band in 2003. Shikari also means hunter in multiple languages.
Enter Shikari has received much praise across the UK and America. A Flash Flood of Colour debuted in the UK at the #1 spot on the charts and as #4 in the U.S. Top Rock Albums on iTunes. The album is meant to be a commentary on the modern age and the new generation of activists, while at the same time creating a frenzied soundtrack for the dance floor.
