Concert Promoter and Son Kidnapped Following Nas, Jemiah Jai NYE Concert No-Show in Angola

According to TMZ, CEO of AllGood Concerts Patrick Allocco and his son have been kidnapped following hip hop artist Nas and opening act Jemiah Jai did not arrive at a New Year’s Eve gig in Angola. According to the U.S. Embassy, the father and son are in “in residence” at a hotel while money disputes are resolved.

A rep for AllGood Entertainment has said that Allocca and his son were abducted by men employed by an area “concert impresario” Henrique “Riquhino” Miguel, who reportedly fronted $315,000 for Nas and opening act Jemiah Jai.

According to Allocco’s representative, the absentee rappers were paid the $315,000 for the performances in advance but did not make their flights in time to perform at the show in Angola.

As reported in TMZ, Allocco released the following statement regarding the unresolved money issues:

“The hope is that Nas and Jemiah Jai will return all of the mones that were wired to them immediately so that our ransom may be paid and out safe return to the United States may be facilitated.”
