Though not officially credited as She & Him for the track, Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward recorded the single, “So Long,” for the now released Winnie The Pooh movie. The single is the theme song for the new Disney movie which released Friday.
The smooth sounding single has a throwback 60’s aesthetic with minimalistic wall-of-sound production and happy-go-lucky lyrics. The cute three minute track fits the Winnie the Pooh atmosphere well including a cleverly crafted verse which ties in Pooh’s favorite snack, honey.
