With their late-night TV debut set for August, 2011 is quickly becoming a break-out year for Merrill Garbus and her musical project tUnE-yArDs. With their second LP, w h o k i l l, releasing to praise and acclaim, they have also confirmed a lengthy two month Fall tour, dates confirmed.
On Aug. 1 tUnE-yArDs will display their eccentric live talents on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Following the show, the band will take a two-week break before playing San Francisco’s Outside Lands Festival.
The Fall North American tour scheduled to kick off in New York Sept. 19 will swing East to West with a few Canadian dates before cap-stoning in Portland Nov. 21. The tour will see tUnE-yArDs play 28 dates.
