Queens of the Stone Age‘s Josh Homme, members of The Strokes and Eddie Vedder have teamed up to contribute Marvin Gaye classic to an amazingly star-studded compilation titled “Live From Nowhere Near You Volume II“. The album is to benefit homeless youth.
Dedicated Strokes fans may recall seeing Mercy, Mercy Me as a b-side to the single for You Only Live Once, but the song is now under a different context and the song is one among many incredible collaborations on this landmark benefit album. The track is available below as well as a list of contributors to From Nowhere Near You Volume II.
