Black Pistol Fire is this amazing ATX band that fuses bluesy R&B reminiscent of this other ‘black’ two piece band, the other word in that band name being a tool we all use to open doors, and this other two piece ‘white’ garage-ish band that I also love, which is sadly no more, R.I.P 1997 – 2011… & their other word is the opposite of ‘plaid’ in the fashion world… it’s more fun not to say it, because there really is more to this band than what they kinda sorta sound like. Which is awesome. They sound really awesome. Loud drums + soulful guitar, yes. Everything else is just sound fluff right? If you’ve got that, you might as well say you have it all. Support local music!
