Although already one of the most talked about artists in the world of electronic music and he’s yet to debut his full length album. Well, the time is finally here, and while many have already sampled and experienced some of the album’s material, it’s release date is fast approaching — 4×4=12 drops December 6. deadmau5‘s shows ignite the audience with electrifying vibes, from dubstep, to electro house, to neo-trance, and everything in between. Along with his music are cosmic visual shows, coexisting almost in synchronization with the stellar sounds, as if every visual were tailored accordingly for each song performed.
In addition to the 11 tracks, the album features a collaboration with deadmau5 vs. Wolfgang Gartner entitled “Animal Rights”, described by Beatport as similar to the techno sounds of Daft Punk.
4×4=12‘s single, “Sofi Needs A Ladder”, was first performed at the Ultra Music Festival this past March. There, deadmau5 took the stage with iconic Tommy Lee performing in front of an audience of over 50,000. Since then, the song has been used as the opening piece on his current tour.
With his tour slowly coming to a halt, deadmau5 wraps it up in the Big Apple three nights in a row, followed by a New Orleans and Canada show. Tour dates are below:

To hold you over until its December 6 release date, the single, “Sofi Needs A Ladder”, will launch on Halloween via . And don’t worry — there’s more where that came from. Following that single, other tracks will be released every so often until the full album makes its debut, including “Some Chords” (November 7), “Right This Second” (November 14), “Bad Selection” (November 21) and “Raise Your Weapon” (November 28).
