Kanye West Announces GOOD Friday Back on, Releases New “Runaway” Artwork

Kanye West announced via his Twitter earlier this week that he planned to suspend the release of this week’s GOOD Friday track due to the leak of some unfinished tracks from his upcoming album—an action that he has since decided against.  He also released new artwork for the single “Runaway.”

‘Ye announced today via his Twitter that he will be attempting to release a GOOD Friday track later tonight via the following tweet:

“I’m trying to still deliver a new Good Friday song 2nt… Let’s pray!!!”

Two unfinished tracks from his upcoming album, “All of the Lights” and “Lost in the World,” leaked earlier this week, which prompted West to cancel this week’s free download.  He explained the situation via a series of tweets on Thursday:

“Due to blogs leaking unfinished songs from my actual album I’ve decided to pass of Good Fridays this week

It’s messed up that one hacker can mess everything up for everyone… I love to take a year to finish my songs and deliver them …

to you guys in there most completed form…

It would have seemed like since I give free music every week even the lowest form of human being would respect that enough not to leak…

unfinished songs from my real album…”

West also released reworked artwork for “Runaway,” his recent single featuring Pusha T.  Check it out below:
