IAMSOUND Records has been creating a series of split 7-inch vinyl releases by some of LA’s artists and musicians called “The LA Collection.” Featured artists include Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Local Natives, Dead Man’s Bones, Fool’s Gold, Imaad Wasif, Nosaj Thing, and more. All of the artwork is courtesy of LA artists Ingrid Allen and Elisa Saether – capturing dreamlike yet classic depictions of LA for the covers. Ingrid and Elisa are presenting an art exhibit of their work at Space 15Twenty running June 11th to July 10th.
Check out the opening party this Friday the 11th (tomorrow!) from 7 – 10 p.m. featuring live performances by Imaad Wasif and IO Echo, and DJ sets by Signals and IAMSOUND(system).
