The Roots Get Over New Record Release Date

After pushing back their release for nearly a year, the Roots have announced their upcoming album How I Got Over It to June 8 on Def Jam Records.

Tickets are now available for the 2010 Roots Picnic on June 5 at the Festival Pier on Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia.  The lineup includes Vampire Weekend, Mayer Hawthorne, and Clipse, in addition to a set by Questlove with DJ Jazzy Jeff.  The full lineup as of March 8 is below.

The Roots will also be backing Booker T. Jones on his new album.
