Frontman and founder of Megadeth Dave Mustaine announces the return of founding bassist David Ellefson (1983-2002) for their upcoming tour of the landmark genre-defining 1990 album, Rust In Peace. “This shows the power of brotherly love and forgiveness,” Mustaine says in a recent press release. “Dave Ellefson belongs in Megadeth. Next we are going to show you the power of getting your asses kicked…HARD!” The 20th anniversary tour begins in Spokane, WA on March 1st. The group is currently on tour in support of their current CD Endgame, which receiving some of the best reviews in the band’s history. Other band members include Shawn Drover (drums) and Chris Broderick (guitar). According the press release, Mustaine, thanked James LoMenzo for his service to the band and wished him the best.
