Clutch Set to Release New Album Strange Cousins From The West July 7th

Clutch, a rock foursome from Maryland, is set to release their 9th studio album Strange Cousins From the West on July 7, 2009, with its first single and video called “50,000 Unstoppable Watts” coming out this month. The album is produced by Clutch and J. Robbins at Magpie Cage Studios in Baltimore. It’s the first album to be released on the band’s own Weathermaker Music through RED Distribution.

Clutch has just began a 7 month worldwide tour, with support acts Wino and Maylene & the Sons of Disaster, followed by a July tour with Baroness as the main support. Clutch will also appear in music festivals such as City Austin Limits, and UK’s Download Festival.
