Consisting of four friends living in a row home in North Philly, Philadelphia-based band Mumblr will be performing June 11th at PhilaMOCA. As a part of this release show for their next album, The Never Ending Get Down, Mumblr will be joined by MANNEQUIN PUSSY and Amanda X, two more established acts in the Philly indie scene.
Self-described as “fuzz punk” (a genre the band itself created), Mumblr’s music encourages their audience to “do whatever they want, whenever they want”. Sonically, the band is aggressive, authentic, raw, and real. As an established DIY venue, PhilaMOCA will provide a space to perfectly capture Mumblr’s essence.
Known for “melodic and emotional songs capturing youthful sentiment with mature execution”, Mumblr has truly made Philadelphia their musical home. They strike the perfect balance of powerful musicianship with thoughtful lyrics and tasteful melody. For punk, indie, and DIY fans – for fans of raw sound and real music, this is not a show to miss.
