Big Business have released the song “Regulars” off their upcoming album, Command Your Weather. The album is set to be released on July 8th.
According to Stereogum, “The album is about strengthening your resolve against the sometimes seemingly insurmountable power and unpredictability of things beyond your control, and the duo’s thrashing, frenetic, rhythmic onslaughts suit that vision well.”
The duo released “Father’s Day” earlier this month and the energy is similar in both songs.
Big Business is also set to go on tour this summer though North America. The Seattle natives will be releasing Command Your Weather, the follow-up to 2013’s Battlefields Forever.
Big Business is made up of Jared Warren and Coady Willis. After releasing their first album in 2005, Head for the Shallow, they were joined by Dale Crover and Buzz Osborne a year later to become The Melvins. Warren and Willis released Here Come the Waterworks in 2007 that landed them an opening spot on Tool’s tour. The two released another album in 2008, Mind The Drift, before going on a short hiatus.
Warren and Willis have toured with Torch and Thrones, Red Fang and American Sharks, and released another album since then.
