Nicole Atkins has just announced her tour dates for this summer with all new, Nashville inspired songs.
After moving to Nashville, Atkins has had a whole new round of inspiration to create new music and now she is ready to share them with the world on her summer tour.
In the past she has toured with the likes of: The Black keys, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Primal Scream, the Avett Brothers and those are only a few of them.
Earlier this year, Atkins recorded a tribute to David Bowie by singing a cover of “Heroes” along with Postmodern Jukebox.
Atkins is now the host for Sirius XM’s “The Spectrum” channel, and an interviewer for certain programs such as “Jam On” and “Outlaw Country”. Her show is featured on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 6:00am to noon eastern time.
Last Fall Nicole performed with The Dean Ween Group which she described as a dream come true. She was able to join in on there songs “Stay Forever” and “She’s Your Baby”.
Earlier in 2015 Atkins was invited to perform her song “War Torn” on David Letterman where she gave a moving, non-conventional performance.
