The three-piece powerviolence band, Nails, have just announced they will be performing at The Marlin Room at Webster Hall this June 22nd.
For all you fans of things heavy, fast and aggressive, this is one hell of a show to look forward to in June. Nails announced a handful of tour dates this morning with support from Full of Hell, God’s Hate and Eternal Sleep. The announcement comes only a few days after they announced their newest record, You Will Never Be One of Us, that will be coming out on June 17th. The record is a follow up to their 2013 album, Abandon All Life, which took the intensity of the entire powerviolence genre to a whole new level. It is inevitable that You Will Never Be One of Us has a lot to live up following the amount of praise Abandon all Life received from fans. But not to worry, of course. The band released their newest single, You Will Never Be One of Us, and it rips. Check it out.
Nails hasn’t headlined a tour for quite some time but to make matters even more exciting, the one of a kind grindcore/powerviolence/sludge metal band, Full of Hell, will also be performing on June 22nd. The band just released a new record, One Day You Will Ache Like I Ache, which was a record just as unique as the band itself. They partnered up with doom metal band, The Body, in the production of this album and it was released last month. Check out their song, Fleshworks, that appeared on the record.
