Aerosmith has decided to add more European dates to their summer itinerary, according to Billboard. The additional dates will follow their planned appearances at this year’s Sweden Rock Festival on June 10 and Download Festival in England on June 13. Aerosmith fans will be glad to know that the band has settled their differences with front-man Steven Tyler, despite the threatening to seek another singer last year.
“There’s no Aerosmith without Steven Tyler”
Live Nation U.K. promoter Andy Copping stated. Copping adds that an Aerosmith without Tyler “was never part of the conversation” with the group’s representatives.
The group has also been offered tour dates in South America, but nothing has been announced. Their plans to begin recording for a new LP has also been sidelined due to Tyler and Perry’s recent health issues. Tyler has been in rehab since December for an addiction to painkillers. Perry has been on tour with ‘Joe Perry Project’ in support of his latest album, “Have Guitar, Will Travel,” while drummer Joey Kramer has been promoting his autobiography, “Hit Hard: A Story of Hitting Rock Bottom at the Top.” Guitarist Brad Whitford is preparing for the Experience Hendrix Tour which begins March 4 in Santa Barbara, California.
