The second annual Revolver Golden Gods Awards will honor the year’s best in hard rock and heavy metal on Thursday, April 8 at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, CA.
Hosted by Andrew W.K. and professional wrestler Chris Jericho, the show will feature performances from Rob Zombie, Fear Factory, As I Lay Dying, The Devil Wears Prada and last year’s host Brian Posehn’s all-star band featuring Scott Ian, Brendon Small, John Tempesta and Joey Vera, with a special performance by Zakk Wylde.
Motörhead’s Lenny Kilmister will receive the Revolver Golden God Lifetime Achievement Award, and Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford will receive the Revolver Golden God Award, which is rewarded to an honoree who embodies “all that is metal.”
The awards show will be broadcast on VH1 Classic on Saturday, May 22.
