Hey Marseilles are headed back to Johnny Brenda’s next year. The band will be touring the US and Canada throughout the beginning of 2016 in support of their upcoming third full-length album. The tour will kick off at the end of January and continue through early April. You can catch them when they make their way to Philadelphia to perform on February 10th.
The chamber pop band got their start back in 2006, when lead singer Matt Bishop and Guitarist Nick Ward joined forces after having played together at the University of Washington. In 2008, they released their first album, To Travels & Trunks. The album made a big impression, being ranked one of the best Northwest albums of the year. Then in 2013, they released their second full-length, Lines We Trace, again to much critical acclaim. That same year, they played a slew of music festivals, including big names like Lollapalooza.
In addition to their tour announcement, Hey Marseilles has also given fans their first taste of what’s to come in the highly anticipated third album. Take a listen to their newly released track, “West Coast,” below.
