The Pains of Being Pure at Heart have released their new song “Hell.”
The song can be found on their upcoming Hell EP, set to drop Friday, Nov. 13 via Painbow Records.
Hell will be the band’s first studio release since their 2014 Days of Abandon, which features ten songs, including “Kelly” and “Simple and Sure.”
Vocalist Kip Berman said the reason for recording “Hell” came about when he posted a demo of the track in the past, and people urged him to record an official track. Thus, TPOBPAH went to House Under Magic and recorded both the title track and two other songs, which will also be featured on the EP.
Of “Hell,” Berman said:
The song ‘Hell’ is about how insufferable performances of sensitivity are when there’s a good song paying and someone you want to dance with.
You can listen to the track below.
TPOBPAH will be performing at Hong Kong’s Cockenflap Festival and Singapore’s Neon Lights Festival at the end of this month.
