PETA just celebrated their 35th anniversary with one heck of a gala in Hollywood. Within this celebration, two legendary musicians teamed up to do some great covers. We love collaboration between artists, so these clips are so fun to enjoy for fans of all types of music.
Paul McCartney and Beck treated attendees of the PETA benefit to a number of old Beatles’ classics, according to Spin. Classic fan favourites were sure to have the audience captivated, especially with such a unique collaboration between Paul McCartney and Beck.
Both artists are currently in the middle of cultivating their own individual projects and staying true to their own sound as well. Paul McCartney is in the midst of his Fall 2015 tour, ending October 22nd in Buffalo, NY. On the flip side, Beck is currently working with Cat Power, Fiona Apple, and many more in the production of a tribute album.
With unfortunately no full video of the performance, here are three clips from Youtube featuring different moments from the PETA benefit.
Paul McCartney and Beck play “I’ve Just Seen A Face”
Paul McCartney and Beck play “They Say It’s Your Birthday”
Paul McCartney and Beck play “Drive My Car”
