Dream pop duo Beach House have announced their tour dates for this fall in the U.S. and Europe.
The tour is in support of the band’s latest album, Depression Cherry. That album was initially announced in May 2015 and released in August. The album has been getting rave reviews, with Pitchfork calling the album “another impeccably measured step forward,” and NPR Music saying the album “feels vibrant and versatile.”
More than a month before Depression Cherry was set to be released, it was reported that it leaked online, along with Destroyer’s Poison Season album that was set for the same release date. Prior to the leak, Beach House had only released one track from the album called “Sparks.” Almost a full month after the leak, however, the duo released two new tracks entitled “PPP” and “Beyond Love,” respectively. The songs were released on the group’s website as part of an interactive “choose-your-own-single” project that determined what single a fan would like best based on their favorite past Beach House tracks.
Beach House kicked off their tour on September 17 in Columbus, Ohio, and it will come to a close on December 19 in San Francisco, California. Several shows on the tour are already sold out. Among their tour stops are Pitchfork Music Festival in Paris and Iceland Airwaves in Reykjavik. See the full list of tour dates, as well as ticketing links, below.
