Welsh rockers Skindred announced that their sixth studio album, Volume, is due out on October 30th via Napalm Records. Metal Insider premiered a lyric video for “Under Attack,” which details the dates and locations of the band’s upcoming November tour. Listen to the song below:
Metal insider quoted frontman Clive “Benji” Webbe’s thoughts on “Under Attack,” saying “to deliver something that rocks hard and that is melodic straight out of the gate is what we wanted so here is something that undeniably does both.”
Volume is the band’s first release through Napalm Records, and the album is available for preorder here. It was recorded in London at The Strongroom and produced by James “Lerock” Loughrey. Fans can also purchase a documentary, Rude Boys for Life, that will be made available exclusively at Best Buy, pending release date information. Watch the official trailer below:
Volume‘s press release detailed that the film is directed by band member Dan Sturgess and “offers a revealing and exclusive behind-the-scenes look at one of rock music’s best live bands,” using over 1000 hours of footage from the band’s 17-year run.
mxdwn last reported music news from Skindred when their fifth album, Kill the Power, was being released in 2013, which also featured a lyric video.
Skindred’s fall, headlining “Pump Up the Volume” tour will feature Crossfaith and (Hed)pe as openers, and begins shortly after Volume‘s release. Tickets and dates are available on their website.
