Cadena joined Black Flag in 1980 as a singer then switched to guitar when Rollins joined the band. He then left Black Flag and joined Damaged. He was a member of the Misfits from 2001 until earlier this year, when he announced that he had left the band. He played in FLAG alongside former Black Flag members Keith Morris, Chuck Dukowski, Bill Stevenson, and Descendents guitarist Stephen Egerton.
