Rumors have been running rampant since Joni Mitchell was hospitalized on March 31st. Now, an unknown source close to the legendary singer/songwriter has alleged that Joni Mitchell had a brain aneurysm.
Back in April, mxdwn reported that Joni Mitchell was found unconscious and taken to a hospital. Some three or four weeks later, a TMZ report lead many to believe that, despite earlier reports that she was responsive and “in good spirits,” Mitchell was in a coma and unresponsive. The latter of these two reports was summarily dismissed by Mitchell’s representatives, yet that did very little to quell the tide of concern that many had for Mitchell. Now, a source close to Joni Mitchell has alleged that the singer/songwriter had a brain aneurysm. Also according to the source, Mitchell is expected to be moved to a rehab facility in the coming days. While it has been confirmed that Mitchell sought conservatorship from her longtime friend Leslie Morris, there has been no official word from anyone within Joni Mitchell’s camp, therefore the speculation on her alleged aneurysm is exactly that: speculation.
Although no official word has gone out from Mitchell’s representatives, her hospitalization leaves many fans and friends desperate to find out what has become of the legendary Canadian singer/songwriter. We will keep you posted as more information is brought to light.
