Ariana Grande’s North American headlining tour, The Honey Moon Tour, has been extended into the summer and will include a stop at the Frank Erwin Center on October 13. Grande’s tour has been an overwhelming success with sold out dates throughout the first leg of the tour.
Grande began her career in the Broadway musical 13, before landing her role on the Nickelodeon television series, Victorious. She has also appeared in other theater, television and film roles and lent her voice to animated television and films. Grande has been featured on the cover of numerous teen and music magazines.
Her career in music began when she started recording on soundtracks. She later signed independently to Republic Records and released her debut studio album, Yours Truly, in 2013. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, and spawned the lead single, “The Way,” which became a top ten hit. Critics often compare Grande to the talented Mariah Carey. Her most recent album, My Everything, also reached number one and contained the hits, “Problem” and “Break Free.” With other notable single including “Bang Bang” and “Love Me Harder,” Grande has spent over 34 weeks in the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100. This led her to become the artist with the most top ten singles in 2014.
