Brandon Flowers, lead singer of The Killers, has announced an upcoming solo tour that will kick off this July. He’ll be here in Philly at the end of July for a performance at The Electric Factory before heading out for a lengthy US tour that will end at the beginning of October down in El Paso, Texas.
Flowers is out supporting his upcoming sophomore release, The Desired Effect. The album is due out May 19th and mark’s the singer’s first solo record since his 2010 release Flamingo. That album charted in the top ten in ten countries, including the UK where it went to number 1. That year, SPIN, named the singer one of their “15 Best Shows of the Summer”, and one of the “25 Best Fall Tours.” If that’s any indication, his upcoming gigs are going to must-sees as well. Grab your tickets now.
You can also catch Flowers when his band, The Killers, headline and close out the festivities Sunday night, July 21st, of Firefly Festival. That night they’re playing with the likes of Snoop Dogg, Bastille, Hozier, Raury, Phox, and many more.
