The year 2015 marks a comeback year for English rockers Blur. This past Monday, the band released their first album, The Magic Whip, since 2003’s Think Tank. In honor of the release, the band will make their way to the Big Apple to perform the album in its entirety—for free.
As part of the Converse Rubber Tracks Live music program, the London natives will delight fans with an intimate pop-up show on May 1 at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, New York. Brooklynite punk band Honduras will support the band.
In order to attend the show you must register for free tickets, which will be available beginning Wednesday, April 29 at 12pm EST here. Only those who receive a confirmed “ticket” will be offered entrance into the venue. Make sure to get there early, as the event is under a first come, first serve basis.
To get pumped for the show, listen to “My Terracotta Heart” and “Lonesome Street”—which also has a video, by the way!
