Punk and hip hop group Death Grips have announced summer 2015 tour dates in the United States and Canada, spanning the months of June and July.
According to Consequence of Sound, Death Grips has cancelled more shows than they have played in the past two years. The tour seems to be in support of the release of disc two of their alleged final album, The Powers That B. The duo announced their plans to break up in summer 2014, after the release of their last album. They released disc one shortly after their breakup announcement, and have already released artwork for disc two, which will be out March 31.
Death Grips also has a music video out for “Inanimate Sensation” and a stream of track “The Powers That B” – both tracks appear on Jenny Death, the dual album’s second disc. In addition to working on The Powers That B, the group also put out a surprise album called Fashion Week in January. With the upcoming tour, it looks like the end of Death Grips won’t happen for at least another few months.
