Thom Yorke has released a new song “You Wouldn’t Like Me When I’m Angry”. The track is a bonus for the recent Bandcamp release of his sophomore solo album, Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes.
According to Under The Radar, this new song is a reference to the famous line often uttered by The Incredible Hulk. According to Rolling Stone, Yorke has been actively working on this song since 2013. An unfinished version of the track surfaced some time ago and it was speculated that “You Wouldn’t Like Me When I’m Angry” would most likely appear on York’s Atoms for Peace project.
Yorke, known as the frontman for Radiohead, has seen a good deal of success with the release of his album Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes. The album was reported to have been downloaded over 1 million times via BitTorrent.
According to Rolling Stone, Yorke posted some of the lyrics to his new song on Twitter. Those lyrics are as follows:
“I can’t come when you call / I am not who you thought / You wouldn’t like me when I’m angry / My dark places / Just when you left / What should not just is,”
In addition to his solo projects, Yorke has recently been very active with his group Radiohead as well. In September the group released new music through their audio-visual app PolyFauna. Radiohead also announced in November that they were begin to work on a new album.
