British duo The Ting Tings are hitting the road in January 2015 for an American and Canadian tour.
The band – comprised of Kate White and Jules de Martino – will be touring in support of their third studio album, Super Critical, which featured the hit single, “Wrong Club”. The album was released online for digital downloading on October 27th, 2014, and it will be available physically via Finca on January 13th, 2015, according to a press release about the tour.
In addition to the lead single, “Wrong Club”, the band has also released a second single. “Do It Again” was written about the writing and recording process for their second album, Sounds From Nowheresville. And, the band released an official music video for “Do It Again” in October 2014.
Sounds From Nowheresville was released in the U.K. on February 27th, 2012, and came out in the U.S. in early March of that same year. Also in March 2012, The Ting Tings were one of the bands featured in the Live from the Lot concert series on March 15th and 16th at Austin’s SXSW Festival.
The 2015 winter tour will take The Ting Tings through a selection of American and Canadian cities including: New York City, Toronto, and San Francisco.
