At a secret show at the Roxy on July 31st, My Chemical Romance performed three tracks from their forthcoming album – “Death Before Disco,” “Kiss the Ring” and “The Drugs.”

Unlike previous MCR albums, this one will not be centered around a concept and will represent a shift to more driving rock, with swifter and more concise songs.  As reported by Spin Magazine, guitarist Ray Toro explained that, “after Black Parade, we were ready for a more aggressive sound, similar to Revenge, but even harder.”
