Jukebox the Ghost is headed back to Philly this Friday! But the best part about it is that the show is totally FREE! All you have to do is RSVP and you can head to World Cafe Live at noon on Friday. RSVP now because these great shows tend to fill up quickly!
This Friday will mark Jukebox the Ghost’s second appearance on the Free at Noon stage. But this time they’ll be bringing along some new material which we’re excited to hear. They were in Philly last month for Radio 104.5’s August Block Party. They joined Bleachers and Wild Cub on the Festival Pier stage. But this Friday’s Free at Noon is the perfect opportunity for fans to see them on a small stage.
The DC band joined forces back at GW and released their first album in 2008. Their second album dropped in 2010 and a third was released in 2012. This album saw the band shifting gears from the sci-fi narrative they had previously developed in order to adopt a more personal sound with several songs drawing directly from their life experiences. Earlier this summer Jukebox the Ghost released a new single, “The Great Unknown.” The album is slatted for a fall release so stay tuned for more information on that.
