Ryan Adams is headed out on tour this fall. And he’ll make his way back to our area in November. Grab your tickets now and see him when he performs at the Tower Theater. If you missed him at XPoNential Festival, or just want to see him again supporting his new album, you’ll definitely want to head to The Tower.
Ryan Adams is set to release his new self-titled album next month. This release marks his 14th studio album, and will be released on September 9th here in the US (a day earlier in the UK). The upcoming album was inspired by The Smiths and Velvet Underground with Adams stating, “[I would] go in with a couple bros at seven o’clock and just jam. We would, like, smoke a bowl and drink some tea — and the words came free-flowing out of me. It gives me chills just talking about it.”
Ryan Adams released his first solo album in 2000. In addition to his own music, he has also produced for artists like Willie Nelson, Jenny Lewis, and Fall Out Boy and has worked on collaborations with the likes of Weezer, Norah Jones, and Counting Crows. Adams has been previewing songs from the new album while he tours the festival circuit this summer. Grab your tickets now and see him when he makes his way back to Philly in November.
