The members of Wu-Tang Clan appeared on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show to perform their new – until that point, unheard – single, “Ron O’Neal”.
Despite missing an opportunity to release a new album while commemorating the 20th anniversary of Enter the Wu-Tang, personal conflicts within the group, they presented a united front as the entire Clan sat down to talk about their reunion with Daily Show host John Stewart. Since the last Wu-Tang release in 2007, many of the members have gone onto find success in solo careers and side projects.

“Ron O’Neal” is the first single from the group’s long awaited album, “A Better Tomorrow”. And yes, the song’s title is a direct reference to the Super Fly actor, Ron O’Neal, according to Spin.

Lastly, despite Stewart’s claim that the new Wu-Tang single, “Ron O’Neal” would be available digitally at midnight on August 6th; however, as of August 8th, it is still not available on iTunes U.S.
