The first single from Vita E Morte is dropped. The upcoming EP from Cross My Heart Hope To Die is due to drop in just over a month, and if “Two Shots” is any indication, we’re in for a hell of an album.
Cross My Heart Hope To Die was originally founded by DJ Muggs. Muggs has been around the block a few times, and always in good company. He’s best known as legendary rap group Cypress Hill’s DJ and producer, but he’s also done work with other musicians, including U2 and Depeche Mode. Cross My Heart was born when he picked up producer Andrew Kline, singer Brevi, and “curator” Sean Bonner. The group already turned heads last year with their self-titled EP, and they’re at it again with the new album.
“Two Shots” is moody, gritty, and a perfect showcase of Cross My Heart’s unique brands of badass whimsy. It’s caught some seriously positive early attention, and paves the way for what promises to be an extremely interesting EP. Check it out here:
