Alt-J has announced the release of their second album, This is All Yours. The album will be released September 22 and is currently available to pre-order.
Alt-J is made up of Joe Newman, Gus Unger-Hamilton, and Thom Green. Their debut album, An Awesome Wave received much praise and was awarded the Mercury Music Prize in 2012. After the release of their first album, The New York Times called the band’s sound, “A handsome alloy of dry acoustic timbre and reverberant effect, suggesting a very British convergence true-minded electronic music and psychedelic folk.”
