The second annual Sunset Strip Music Festival, set for Sept. 10 to Sept. 12, has announced its initial lineup. The Strip’s six music venues will host dozens of various musical acts (exact venue schedules to be announced soon), and for the first time The Sunset Strip (between Doheny Drive and San Vicente Blvd.) will be closed to host two concert stages on Sept. 12, which is expected to draw 10,000 people. In addition to live music on the street from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., The Strip will be set up with an array of food and drink vendors and all the clubs within the enclosed area (The Roxy Theatre, Key Club, Whisky A Go-Go and Cat Club) will feature shows for those who purchase tickets to the street fest. The festival will also honor rock legend Ozzy Osbourne at a tribute event on Sept. 10 that kicks off the three-day festival.
