Mareux released a new single, “Cadillac Casket,” on Oct. 23. This is a taste of what’s next for Mareux fans with his new album. “Cadillac Casket” is described as a collision of post-punk, French electro and glam. Mareux wrote the song on his piano, then sent it to producer Elliott Kozel (Rosalía, Eartheater, Provoker).

The song shows a return to Mareux’s darker sound while also keeping the evolved sound he had on his 2025 release Nonstop Romance. Mareux is preparing audiences for a mix of sounds and styles that make him a unique artist with the new single, which is half a love song and chase montage. This contrast is accompanied by a sample of his recent neo-noir sci-fi works.
