Wisp takes the stage at 8 pm and opens the night up with “Save me now” from her 2025 album “If Not Winter”. She’s wearing a white feathered dress, which matches her microphone embellishment, which is a bird. Her band is made up of herself (vocals and rhythm guitar), a guitarist, bassist and drummer. She introduces herself and shares her gratitude for being a part of Beabadoobee’s tour, and she has dreamt of playing Madison Square Garden. Her vocals are on point, light and emotional, which creates a perfect harmony with the harsh shoegaze instrumentals. “Enough For You” off of “Pandora” plays, and the crowd sings along.
More highlights include “Serpentine” and an unreleased track “Butterflies”. She plays one acoustic song, having to tune the guitar onstage and saying, “I mess up this song every night”. This track is called “All I Need”, which highlights her fairy-like vocals. She ends with “Your Face”, her most popular song, which the crowd goes very wild for. Wisp’s set was a perfect way to start the night.
The crowd is made up of younger women primarily, wearing outfits that match Bea’s album “Pylon”, earthy tones and glitter. Many fans were wearing exclusive merch sold, like a shirt with a big apple on it and Bea’s tour title “Powerlines Tour”.
Bea takes the stage around 9 pm. Her set features a cell tower, with powerlines hanging around the stadium, fake dirt roads and pavement. She enters the stage with her band, and “Sun Has Set” from “Pylon” starts. Fans are screaming along and taking videos. The power lines pulse different colors along with the music, and the two screens alongside the stage project a live feed of Bea and the band. The next track starts “10:36” off of her 2022 album “Beatopia”, and she’s playing rhythm guitar. The set is a perfect mix of indie, pop and punk. Bea’s new album takes on a more punk energy, unlike the rest of her albums. During songs from “Pylon”, fans are moving more.
She introduces herself to the band and thanks everyone for coming to the show before playing “Apple Cider”, another throwback from her 2019 album “Loveworm”. Fans are really enthusiastic about this, to hear a deep cut so early into the set.
She plays songs from all of her albums throughout the set, including an acoustic version of “Coffee” which is her top song with over 1 billion streams on Spotify. This song had a life of its own, blowing up on TikTok and other social media platforms. The crowd went wild for it.
Other highlights include “Care”, “Memories”, “The Road” (Unreleased) and “The Perfect Pair”. During “Powerlines”, she climbs the cell tower and sings the track from up there. She expresses how grateful she is for the crowd for supporting her for so long, and becomes emotional during a couple of songs. Another highlight is “Glue Song”, in which she dedicates the track to the crowd. There’s a phone on stage that she uses during one of the tracks, and it has a microphone built into it.
More highlights include her introducing her band between tracks, and talking more to the crowd about her album “Plyon’, and saying that she really loves powerlines (the actual powerlines, not the song). The most exciting tracks were “She Plays Bass” and “Cologne”; they both got the crowd moving due to them being upbeat and well-known.
She ends the show with “Beaches” a track from her 2024 album “This Is How Tomorrow Moves”. This is also a crowd favorite, and fans became emotional along with Bea. She exits the stage and thanks everyone for coming out.
