Heavy metal legends Accept are celebrating five decades of thunderous riffs by breathing new life into one of the band’s most overlooked songs. The German icons have released a newly re-recorded version of “Save Us,” featuring an all-star lineup that includes Ghost mastermind Tobias Forge, Anthrax bassist Frank Bello, and Korn drummer Ray Luzier. The track is the latest preview of Teutonic Titans 1976-2026, the band’s massive 50th anniversary album arriving September 4 via Napalm Records.

Originally appearing on 1980’s I’m a Rebel, “Save Us” has long been considered a hidden gem in Accept’s catalog. Rather than simply recreating the original, the band gives the song a modern makeover while preserving the raw energy that made it a fan favorite in the first place. Rather than telling a cinematic story, it showcases striking artwork inspired by Teutonic Titans 1976-2026, featuring bold heavy metal imagery, animated visual effects, and graphics highlighting the collaboration between Accept and its legendary guest musicians. The presentation allows the song itself to remain the centerpiece while giving fans a visually polished companion to the release.

“Save Us” is the third single released from Teutonic Titans 1976-2026, an ambitious anniversary project featuring 19 re-recorded Accept classics alongside 50 guest musicians from across the heavy metal world. Produced, mixed, and mastered by Zeuss, the album celebrates Accept’s influence by pairing the band’s timeless songwriting with some of the genre’s biggest names. Beyond Forge, Bello, and Luzier, the record also features appearances from artists including Phil Anselmo, Kirk Hammett, Billy Corgan, David Ellefson, Sebastian Bach, Todd La Torre, Alex Skolnick, Rudy Sarzo, Chris Jericho, Mikkey Dee, and many more.
