You know a festival is good when you have to shrink your eyes to find out Little Dragon is playing. This year’s Bonnaroo lineup is so ridiculous, Neutral Milk Hotel, Frank Ocean and James Blake aren’t in the top 5 announcements. The “and more” on the header doesn’t make justice for what’s coming; for crying out loud, even Meshuggah is in.
From Lionel Richie and Elton John to new-born stars CHVRCHES, this year’s Bonnaroo acts feature almost everything that has, is and will do something amazing in music. The four-day celebration has lived to the expectations after the hype the festival built up recently with an epic announcement event called BLAM (Bonnaroo Lineup Announcement Megathon) which featured a Superjam by Flaming Lips and Ben Folds. (oh and by the way, Flaming Lips are also playing).
Kicking off June 12 to the 15th in Manchester, TN, event organizers made sure there’s something for everyone, and I mean EVERYONE: EDM lovers will have their blast with amazing acts as Skrillex and ZEDD, headbangers will off course experience all the pandemonium only Meshuggah and Mastodon are capable of, Latin attendees will have their share of music goodness with 2014 Grammy Award Winners La Santa Cecilia…Phoenix, Vampire Weekend, Arctic Monkeys, Wiz Khalifa, Chromeo, Broken Bells… you name it, it just keeps going.
Tickets are available via Bonnaroo’s site and if the lineup isn’t enough to convince you, they are offering payment plans. Keep in mind this is just the first round of announcements, which means it’s just going to get better. Check the full lineup below.
