On the heels of their fourth studio album, the English-born band look to build some buzz in their video for “I’m Aquarius”.
Metronomy’s been relatively quiet for the past few years, but fans rejoiced when the band teased a three-second snippet of the first single off of “Love Letters” on November 1st. The single quickly climbed to the top of Hypemachine and garnered upwards of 100,000 plays on SoundCloud in mere hours.
The video, directed by award-winning French directed Edouard Salier evokes shades of Stanley Kubrick’s “2001: A Space Odyssey”, while the space theme coincidentally coincides with the recent two-part short film released by Broken Bells for “After the Disco”.
